Travel and I got off to a late start. It began when I started travelling with my husband, 22 years ago. He literally lives in the map, researches deeply, hunts down the best places to stay, and plans thoroughly the routes. I work differently — I visualize the places, think about the experiences, plan what we'll wear, of course, obsess over what we'll eat. Together, we bring two very different planning styles to every journey, and that's what makes them special.
